P & O Cruises Arvia - Speciality Dining Venues

Updated: May 14

Arvia Cruise Ship in La Corona Port

Arvia offers a range of speciality dining options featuring modern classics alongside flavours from around the globe. It also offers a mix of informal and formal dining styles - there really is something to suit everyone. The speciality dining venues are also excellent value for money, when compared with other cruise lines.

In this blog post we will provide an overview of the dining options on board. We were lucky to be able to sample most of these venues during our 14 night sailing, so have reviewed some of the restaurants in more detail.

Epicurean

Dining area of Epicurean on Arvia.

The Epicurean is a fine dining restaurant which fuses classic dining elements with the best of modern British food to create a sumptuous menu, uniquely presented in a sophisticated and contemporary setting.

It is available to book for a set price prior to embarkation, we paid £24pp in September 2023. It is also available able to book on board, but is a popular venue so availability can be limited. Epicurean is also available on Iona, Britannia, Ventura and Azura.

The dining experience at Sindhu is inspired by India’s diverse regional specialities you can look forward to authentic Indian cuisine with a delicious British twist. Just don't expect your typical local curry house offerings. This is Indian cuisine, but elevated to a fine dining experience not to be missed.

Sindhu is available to pre book, and we paid a deposit of £10pp, which is deducted from your final bill as all dishes are priced a la carte.

The Beach House is inspired by South American, Caribbean and Stateside cuisines. The Beach House menu offers hearty dishes and comfort-food favourites. Save space for the decadent and delicious desserts.

Located in part of the Horizon Buffet on Deck 16, this is one of the more informal dining venues on board.

We were able to prebook this venue for £7.60pp, although some dishes on the menu attract a surcharge.

Sample Menu:

The Keel & Cow

Keel and Cow Dining Area

Breakfast, lunch, or dinner is served at The Keel & Cow, with dishes such as black-pudding scotch eggs and a signature beef and stout burger. It is located on Deck 8 and has views over the Atrium, out to sea, or even towards the chefs at work in the open galley. It is the ideal spot to enjoy delicious food, and real hand-pumped and craft ales.

This venue cannot be prebooked, you will need to join the virtual queue on the 'My Holiday App' once on board. We had no difficulty getting a table here and actually visited twice during our time on board

The Glass House

The Glass House Dining Area and Large Windows

Located in the Atrium on Deck 7, this venue is at the centre of the ship. Headed up by the award-winning wine expert and P&O Cruises Food Hero, Olly Smith, The Glass House is the perfect location for a light bite, lunchtime tipple, afternoon apéritif or a tastefully informal evening out.

This is the perfect venue if you’re looking to match your chosen wine with your food, as you’ll find helpful pairing suggestions in the menu.

A unique culinary adventure across land and sea, Green & Co is a plant based dining experience. Mizuhana is the place to sample sushi. All dishes are priced a la carte.

This was one of our favourite dining experiences, we were blown away by the flavour and quality of the food.

We found this to be the quietest of the speciality dining options on board and had no difficulty getting a table. This restaurant concept is currently only available on Arvia.
