Located next to Liverpool Cruise Terminal, this hotel is in the perfect location to embark on a cruise!
As you enter the hotel you are greeted by a large, contemporary atrium with the main reception desk. We were greeted by friendly staff who checked us in and gave us useful information about our stay. The bar and restaurant can also be accessed from the main lobby and also had a light, contemporary feel .
We booked a Standard Room, with breakfast included. The hotel has free WiFi and a car park, which costs £19 per night whilst staying at the hotel. £26 per 24 hours, if not staying at the hotel.
We actually parked in the NCP on the opposite side of the road, which cost us £30 for three days parking.

Location
Located in the city centre, next to Liverpool Cruise Terminal and opposite the famous Liver Building, the hotel is ideally located for cruises which leave from the terminal. The hotel is located next to a busy road and benefits from its own large car park.
A short walk along the waterfront, past the Museum of Liverpool you will reach Albert Dock, which has a selection of bars and restaurants. A ten to fifteen minute walk takes you into the heart of the city with Liverpool One and the famous Cavern Club (The Beatles) within easy walking distance.
In terms of convenience, the hotel could not be in a better location for cruise passengers!
Room
Our room was 237, located on the second floor. It had two double beds, wardrobes, desk area and flat screen tv. The furnishings in the bedroom area were modern. However, the bathroom was very dated, with a shower over a bath tub, toilet and large sink area.
Within the room you were provided with complimentary water, tea and coffee making facilities, robes, hairdryer, iron and ironing board were also provided.
Our room overlooked part of the car park, the bin storage area and the road. It was therefore quite noisy, and in particular when the bins were being emptied around 6:30am. Fortunately for us we were already awake as we had to meet the coach to travel to Southampton. However, had we not been awake for this reason, we would have been disturbed by this activity taking place so early in the morning.
Overall, the room was a good size and had everything you need for a pleasant stay. However, the standard of the rooms does not match the high quality communal spaces within the hotel and would, especially in the bathrooms benefit from modernisation. We would also request a room on the other side of the hotel if we stay again in the future!
Food & Drink
The hotel has an on-site bar and restaurant. The restaurant serves food in the evening until 9:00pm, with the bar serving food until 10:00pm. There is also an outdoor terrace area (weather permitting). In addition, there is room service available 24 hours per day.
Breakfast was served between 6:30am and 10:30am (Monday to Friday) and 7:00am until 11:00am (Weekends). It is served buffet style and offers a great selection of hot and cold items, juices and teas and coffees. We really enjoyed our breakfast experience.
Leisure Facilities
As a guest of the hotel you get complimentary access to the on-site leisure facilities, including gym and swimming pool.
Summary & Overall Rating
In summary, we think this is an excellent choice of hotel if you are cruising to and/or from Liverpool Cruise Terminal as it is in such a convenient location. Also, we have to say that the service we received from all of the staff at the hotel was excellent and far exceede dour expectations. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
