We recently stayed in a Family Balcony Cabin (14718) onboard Norwegian Prima. As a Family Balcony Cabin, this cabin is suitable for up to 4 adults and has a pull out double sofa bed, as well as a Kingsize or Twin bed configuration. We found the bed to be super comfortable.
Take a look at our You Tube Cabin Tour:
From the moment we stepped inside, we loved the contemporary, neutral decoration, which we feel adds to the overall sense of space within the cabin, something which we have not found on some other ships. This is larger than our previous balcony cabins on Norwegian Cruise Line.
Most of the storage was found by the entrance door, which did make this area feel a little bit cramped. However, if this room was occupied by four people, it does maximise the available space within the cabin aswell. The cabin has a vanity desk, with shallow drawer and large mirror. Beneath the vanity desk you will find the mini bar/fridge and on the desk was a telephone and room service menus. The hairdryer can also be found underneath the desk.
Next to the vanity desk are the wardrobes, which have sliding doors to save space.
Within the wardrobes you will find hanging rails and pull out storage baskets, which we thought were a great addition. The safe can also be found in here. The safe is small, so suitable only for storing passports, money and small electrical items.
Opposite the wardrobes is the entrance to the bathroom.
We really love the design and layout of the bathrooms on Norwegian Prima, it feels really spacious and well-designed. The bathroom features a large walk-in shower and a huge sink area with lots of storage.
For us there is no better feeling than stepping out on to your balcony, and Prima did not disappoint. Although we were in a standard balcony cabin, the balcony was a really good size. We love the new furniture introduced on Prima, it is perfect for enjoying a relaxing sail away.
Overall, we were really pleased with our balcony cabin and would not hesitate to book again!
